BREC provides a wide range of environmental permitting services. Our long standing relationships within the regulatory community and our command of environmental regulations keep us current on the latest guidance which leads to a more efficient approval process.

Commercial, residential, and industrial development activities often result in impacts to our natural resources including wetlands, streams, and riparian buffers. Any land development activity that has the potential to impact these resources must be coordinated with US Army Corps of Engineers under section 404/401 of the Clean Water Act. Additionally, land clearing and grading activities will often require compliance with state and local sediment/erosion and stormwater laws. BREC staff members have provided services as simple as nationwide permits for driveway crossings or as complex as individual permits for planned communities and large industrial developments.
