Due Diligence and the Environmental Site Assessment processes is an integral part of any real estate transaction. Our services seek to determine if and to what extent that the subject properties are contaminated or have the risk to be contaminated. Our clients seek these services to manage their potential risk and liability.
Our firm conducts reviews based on the client needs. At the very basic assessment, our firm conducts a review of local governmental documents regarding the site of the surrounding area. It also entails an involved and detailed site visit by our qualified professionals. In addition, we access databases were information is gathered and reviewed to determine if there is a potential risk of environmental liability in the immediate area.
The BREC staff is specifically trained to offer these services in the ASTM standard forms that are accepted by most lenders, investment groups, conservation non-profits, government agencies, and financial institutions.
BREC provides the following Due Diligence services:
- Phase 1 Environmental Site Assessments
- Transaction Screen Reports
- Historical and Forensic GIS and Mapping
- Forensic Engineering
- Property Reports
- Environmental Compliance Inspections
- Environmental Risk Assessment & Cost Analysis
